Buying Bengali ebooks: a practical guide

Check the book, not just the cover

Read the description and author name. Decide whether the topic answers a question you actually have. Check the book’s stated language: a Bengali title does not imply an English edition is included.

Check the format shown on the book page. Current ebooks are PDFs. Do not assume an EPUB file, printed copy, audiobook or translation comes with the purchase. A personalized summary is a separate option; check its availability before buying.

Keep the order reference after checkout

You can buy one ebook directly or collect multiple ebooks in the cart. Check the final total before going to the payment provider. Use an email address you can access, because your account and reading access depend on it.

A bank or wallet debit and a verified ReadersBay order are two separate steps. If money has been deducted but the order still says pending, use Verify payment status. Do not pay again while the first transaction is uncertain. Contact support with the order reference if it remains unresolved; never send a password, card number or OTP.

Open your library and return to the same account

After verified payment, sign in to the account linked to the purchase and open My Library. If you bought as a guest, follow the email confirmation and account-claim instructions before reading.

Use the reading option available for that purchase. On a phone, open the reader and adjust the zoom for comfort; a fixed-layout PDF will not behave exactly like reflowable ebook text. Save your login securely so you can return to the right library.
